During the Covid-19 lockdown, a wave of uncertainty swept over individuals globally. A myriad of emotions unfolded and resonated worldwide. Filmin Latino, in partnership with the Mexican Academy of Cinematic Arts & Science (AMACC), sought to spotlight these sentiments. We engaged six gifted Mexican actors to pioneer the first Instagram live mini-series centered on lockdown emotions. Presented live in a unique 9:16 format, each episode aired precisely at 9:16 pm daily. I was fortunate to partake in the creative journey and had the distinct honor of directing one of the episodes, «ALEGRÍA,» featuring Sofia Espinosa.
